What Cascade answers
Cascade is the Desk Read line about what lies past the bigger wall. Beyond that wall, do more sized clusters continue, how far, and how many dollars of estimated liquidations sit in that span?
It is the same idea traders mean by a liquidation cascade, stated in one plain sentence for the coin you are reading. For a deeper primer see Liquidation Cascade Explained.
How to read a Cascade line
The live line starts at the bigger wall's price, then says one of two things:
- Beyond $Y, clusters continue to $Z, W% further, $U in that span.
- Beyond $Y, no cluster within 3%.
Those dollars are estimated liquidation notional on the map, not a promise of traded volume. Load the current sentence from the Desk Read block above or from /api/desk_read.
Using Cascade with the Bigger wall line and Crowd
When the first line says the bigger wall is above and Cascade says there is no cluster within 3% beyond it, you know both where the fuel is and that the mapped span past it is thin. Crowd then tells you whether funding and open interest lean the same way.
None of that replaces a plan. It tells you what the liquidation structure looks like before you choose size.
Limits
Cascades on a map are paths through estimated clusters. Real markets gap, venues differ, and thin books can skip levels. Read Cascade as a map of where forced flow could chain, then confirm on the Money Map.
Every level we publish is scored in public, misses included. Check the live grade on /proof before you lean on any number. Until a published-levels bucket is marked sellable, we quote no hit rate at all.
