Crypto P&L Calculator
Work out what a trade actually makes or loses after the costs everyone forgets: fees on both sides and funding while you hold. Net P&L, return on margin, and the exact exit price where you are truly flat.
Your net P&L
Perpetual futures math, the way the exchanges settle it. Nothing is sent anywhere. This runs entirely in your browser.
Fees are charged on the full notional of both the entry and the exit (0.055% per side is a common taker rate; makers pay less). Funding is approximated on the entry notional: enter the total percentage you expect to pay (positive) or receive (negative) over the whole holding period. Liquidation is not modeled here: if the position would have been force-closed before your exit, the real result is worse. Check that first with the liquidation price calculator below.
A winning trade can still lose to a crowd
The P&L math assumes you get to choose your exit. High leverage hands that choice to the exchange: your liquidation price sits where thousands of identical positions cluster, and clusters are where price reaches. The Money Map shows those crowds in real dollars, before you are one of them.

Questions traders actually ask
How is crypto futures P&L calculated?
Gross P&L is (exit minus entry) times position size for a long, or (entry minus exit) times size for a short. Net P&L subtracts trading fees on both the entry and the exit notional, plus any funding you paid over the holding period. Return on margin (ROE) is net P&L divided by the margin you posted, which is the entry notional divided by leverage.
Why is my breakeven exit not just my entry price?
Because fees and funding are real costs. A taker fee on the way in and on the way out means price has to move in your favor by roughly the round-trip fee before you are actually flat, and funding paid while you hold pushes the breakeven further still. This calculator solves for the exact exit price where net P&L is zero.
Does leverage change my P&L?
No. Leverage changes how much margin you post, not how much you make or lose on a given position size. The same position makes the same dollar P&L at 1x and at 20x; only the ROE percentage changes, because the margin denominator shrinks. What leverage really moves is your liquidation price.
