Liquidation Price Calculator
Work out exactly where your position gets force-closed, before you open it. Then see the part no calculator can tell you: whether thousands of other traders are stacked at the same price, waiting to be taken out with you.
Your liquidation price
Isolated margin, the way perpetual futures exchanges actually compute it. Nothing is sent anywhere. This runs entirely in your browser.
Estimate only. The presets are the tier-1 (smallest-position) maintenance margin rates for the two largest USDT-margined venues, as published in their tier tables in August 2026. Both exchanges use tiered maintenance margins that rise with position size, and fees and funding move a real liquidation slightly closer. Exchanges revise their tables, so check your exchange's own tier page for the exact figure.
Your liquidation price is not private
Every trader using round leverage on the same entry lands within a hair of the same price. That is what a liquidation cluster is, and it is why price so often runs exactly there before reversing. The Money Map shows where those clusters sit right now, in real dollars.
Position size
The other half of the same question: how big can this be before a normal losing trade actually hurts.
Sizing from your stop, not from your leverage, is the single habit that separates accounts that survive from accounts that do not. Leverage then only decides the margin you post, never how much you can lose.
Term: Liquidation price · Maintenance margin · Isolated vs cross margin · Leverage
Questions traders actually ask
How is the liquidation price calculated?
For an isolated-margin long: entry x (1 - 1/leverage + maintenance margin rate). For a short: entry x (1 + 1/leverage - maintenance margin rate). Your initial margin is 1/leverage of the position, and you are liquidated once losses eat that margin down to the maintenance requirement. Fees and funding are excluded here and pull the real level slightly closer.
Why does price so often hit my liquidation and then reverse?
Your liquidation price is not unique to you. Traders using similar leverage near similar entries can cluster at nearby liquidation prices. Forced closes may add market orders as price crosses that area. These are estimated concentrations; the next price move remains uncertain.
Does higher leverage increase my risk per trade?
Not by itself. Your risk is decided by your stop distance and position size. Leverage decides how much margin you post and how close your liquidation sits. The danger is that high leverage places liquidation before your stop, so the exchange closes you first.
Is this free?
Yes, with no account and nothing stored. The calculators run entirely in your browser. The delayed Money Map is free as well, with no account.
