# Beta Participant Agreement

**Status:** DRAFT · 2026-05-06 · prepared by engineer for owner review · NOT yet attorney-reviewed · NOT YET PUBLISHED to customers
**Service:** Hunter Killer (the "Service") · operated by Irishman Management LLC ("we", "us")
**Effective date:** [TO BE FILLED on publication]
**Last revised:** 2026-05-06

> **Engineer note to owner:** Conservative beta-program agreement covering NDA-lite (don't share screenshots without permission), feedback obligations, beta-period service-level expectations, and the path to graduation/sunset. The Master Plan calls for a 5-10-user private beta cohort. Sections marked **⚖ ATTORNEY PASS** reference jurisdictional considerations.

## 1 · Welcome, beta participant

You're one of a small invited cohort using Hunter Killer before public launch. The product is **production-quality but provisional** — most surfaces are stable, some are calibrated-but-still-validating, and a few are explicitly experimental.

This document supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where this document and the ToS conflict, this document controls during the beta period only. Once the product graduates from beta (a date we'll communicate), this Agreement terminates and the standard ToS applies.

## 2 · What "beta" means here

| Aspect | Beta status |
|---|---|
| Core platform (account, security, dashboards, manual desk) | Production-quality |
| Engine Read directional synthesis | Calibrated, provisional — see calibration metadata in dashboard footer |
| Cross-exchange liquidation analytics | Production data; UI continues to evolve |
| Per-horizon predictions (Phase 5+) | Pre-calibration "data collecting" badge — DO NOT trade off these |
| New features rolling out during beta | Marked `BETA` or `EXPERIMENTAL` on the surface |

You should expect:

- Occasional bug fixes deployed without warning
- UI tweaks based on cohort feedback
- Some features moving / renaming / changing tier eligibility before graduation
- Calibration models improving (or auto-disabling) as data accumulates

You should NOT expect:

- Service-level guarantees (no formal SLA during beta)
- 24/7 support response (we'll respond within business days; urgent support available via the in-dashboard form)
- Forward compatibility of API contracts (we may break and re-shape /settings/* endpoints, etc.)

## 3 · Your invitation and access

We invited you because we believe your trading style or domain experience will surface meaningful signal during beta. Your access:

- Is granted at our discretion and may be revoked for any reason
- Is non-transferable — please don't share your account credentials with anyone, even briefly
- Includes Pro-tier features at no charge during the beta period (waiver applies through graduation date or 90 days, whichever is shorter)
- Will transition to a paid subscription at the published rate when beta ends, with at least 30 days' notice. You may cancel before any charge.

## 4 · What we ask of you

In exchange for early access, we ask you to:

### 4a · Provide feedback

Use the Settings → Help & Support form, or email [BETA_FEEDBACK_EMAIL], to share:

- Bugs you encounter
- Confusing or broken UX
- Features you wish existed
- Concerns about how the product behaves in your trading flow

We reserve the right to incorporate your feedback into the product without further compensation. By submitting feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and incorporate it.

### 4b · Confidentiality (NDA-lite)

During the beta period, please:

- **Don't post screenshots of the dashboard publicly** without our written permission
- **Don't write reviews or marketing-style content about the Service** publicly until we've approved it
- **Don't share invitation codes** (when issued) — they're tied to your invitation specifically

You MAY:

- Discuss your private trading experience with friends, mentors, accountants, or anyone you'd normally talk to
- Reference Hunter Killer in private DMs or 1:1 conversations
- Keep your own trade journal and notes for personal use

This is a soft NDA — we trust you not to leak product internals during beta. If you slip and post a screenshot, no penalty; just take it down when asked.

### 4c · Don't run automated scrapers

Manual use is fine; programmatic data extraction beyond the Settings → Data export feature is not. If you need API access for legitimate workflows, ask us — we may build it.

### 4d · Honest defect reporting

If you find a security vulnerability or data-leakage bug, please report it immediately via [SECURITY_EMAIL] before discussing it with anyone else. We commit to:

- Acknowledging within 24 hours
- Fixing high-severity issues within 72 hours where feasible
- Crediting you in the changelog (if you wish to be credited)

## 5 · Provisional analytics — read this carefully

During beta, several analytics surfaces are **explicitly provisional**:

- **Engine Read directional synthesis** — calibrated; auto-disable circuit active for symbols with hit rate < 0.25
- **Liquidation Levels Predictive** — calibrated; auto-disable circuit active for precision@N < 0.25
- **Per-horizon predictions (multi-day, weekly)** — corpus-build dependent; many horizons display "data collecting (≈14 days)" instead of a hit rate

You agree:

- You will read the calibration metadata before using these signals
- You will NOT treat any provisional analytic as a buy/sell signal
- You will report when a calibration claim doesn't match your trading experience

## 6 · Data handling during beta

Same as the standard Privacy Policy, with one addition:

- **Aggregate beta cohort analytics** — we may publish aggregate findings (e.g., "78% of beta participants report Engine Read calibration matches their expectation") that do not identify individual users. K-anonymized; minimum 3-tenant bucket. No per-user attribution leaves the operator.

You may request your account's full data export at any time via Settings → Data → Settings JSON export.

## 7 · Graduation, churn, and sunset

When the beta cohort grows or the product matures, we'll communicate one of:

- **Graduation:** product moves to general availability; beta participants get a transition path (typically a discount, locked rate for a period, or invitation to be a Founding Pro at favorable terms)
- **Cohort expansion:** beta opens to more users while remaining "beta"; your status doesn't change
- **Sunset of a feature:** a specific feature you used is being deprecated. We'll give 30 days' notice and provide a migration path or refund where applicable.
- **Sunset of the Service:** unlikely during the active beta but possible if the platform pivots. We commit to 90 days' notice and full data export availability.

## 8 · Liability and risk

Same disclaimers as the standard Risk Disclosure and Terms of Service apply. Beta status does NOT reduce your responsibility for trading decisions. Provisional analytics are documented as such; trade accordingly.

⚖ ATTORNEY PASS — beta-period liability cap (typical: limited to fees paid during beta, which is $0; some jurisdictions impose minimum statutory liability) requires counsel review.

## 9 · Termination

You may exit beta at any time by deleting your account (Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account). We may revoke beta access:

- For terms violations
- For abusive feedback (harassment, sustained bad-faith engagement)
- For confidentiality breaches (e.g., posting product internals publicly)
- For our own operational reasons (cohort restructuring, business pivot)

In all cases, your data export rights remain — you can export everything before access is revoked.
